Audiosnap - Slide Down?

I'll try to explain what I'm trying to do, maybe someone can suggest an easier way to do it.
I've got an audio track (vocals and ukelele) that I want to grid on measure boundaries. I still want it to breathe a little but not quite as much as it does now. At measure 23 the tempo slows down a bit and the transients stop getting recognized reliably by audio snap. At measure 27 the tempo is reestablished and the audio transients are again reliably recognized.
What I want to do is delete all the markers between 23:1 and 27:1, drag the marker at 27:1 down to get 27 back on the grid and then have everything after 27 move down so things line up again, at this point the timing has lost around an 1/8th note.
When I drag 27:1 to the correct location the rest of the clip doesn't follow because the tansient markers after it are fixed, so it just expands the audio to the next marker. The rest of the clip ends up being around an 1/8th note off and requires a lot more manual intervention for every measure.
Is there a way to get the rest of the clip to move down and grid correctly?

Not entirely sure I am following but sounds like you are trying to set the tempo from the clip, is that correct? If so you can use the method explained in this video - Select section 38 from the playlist.

An alternative if it is just one region might be "set Measure/Beat at Now" found in the project menu. That way you can specify exactly what measure and beat you want it to line up to.

Thanks, it's kind of hard to explain, dealing with wetware is a crap shoot (humans creating music without a click).
I have the average tempo of the track, 105.3, audio snap thinks it's 95 but it's a weird track. I want to grid the tack to 105.3 from start to finish and then bounce it. I want to quantize the track audio on measure boundaries but the transient detection doesn't catch everything and there is a 2/4 measure inserted after the intro.

Basically what I want is everything subsequent to my edit location to follow what I'm doing at the current location. I thought that was one of the new audiosnap features, guess I misread the description.
I think it's probably going to end up being a matter of fixing every measure until it's right.

In that case it sounds like "Set measure/beat at now" might be a better option. Press shift + M to bring up the dialogue that allows you to set a given measure and beat at the current now time. Although manual it is a pretty quick way of achieving what I think you want to achieve with ultimate control on what goes where.
