Audiosnap problem

How come I can't just enable Audiosnap on one clip in a track? It's either all or nothing. If I select an entire track with multiple clips, and enable audiosnap, it works. But when I disable just one of those clips, the clip doesn't fully disable. Still get the audiosnap tool, right click brings up the audiosnap menu, even though the clip properties say audiosnap is OFF.

Also, I can't seem to just enable one clip in the first place. I select a clip, press enable, and every clip in the track goes. They are not linked. Can anybody verify this? Am I doing something wrong? I just want to audiosnap one section, but the selection goes crazy and either audiosnaps every clip, or none. I can post screenshots if that helps.

Thanks!

AS has always been per-track, and now that the transient tool is implemented as an edit filter, it pretty much has to be applied to the whole track.
