Oh yeah, that's as smooth as butter Kenny, really sweet tone and phrasing. Are you using a pick or 'grabbing' the chords? Mark Knopfler came to mind while listening.

That is a combination of a pick and grabbing, nicely done, I really like it, and the Les Paul has never sounded better.

Another really nice one, Kenny. +1 to James' "smooth as butter" comment. And like the last one there is a lot fluidity in your playing.

Excellent playing Kenny -- smooth indeed! I am really amazed at the sound that you get out of the Tele -- it really comes out sounding - well- smooth with out the metallic sound that Tele's can some times have.

Hi James, I treated it as if I was writing a song on top of the backing track , so I put a lot of thought into what I wanted to say while playing the guitar . through out this recording I'm doing a combination of plectrum with fingers …sort of a hybrid style of picking ... Yes , you could say that I'm grabbing the strings of the chords with the pick hitting the lowest note . For a lot of the single note runs its pretty much all plectrum . Also in parts of the song I wound up over dubbed some sections , in a few of those places I used only my fingers ... I'm very pleased you like my playing on this tune Kenny PS Mark Knopfler ,thank you, what nice complement Yeah I wish I could hang out and jam with him one of these days .

Hello folks , I left this tune hanging for a while … I didn't think it would be fair to comment here on mine with out giving some of your tunes a listen first ... Makke well done beautiful guitar instrumental .. pleasant melody lines and ambiance ... sounds good
Thank You Makke , I was going for a relaxed happy type of guitar sound rebel007 Nice work. Thoroughly enjoyed the listen and thanks for sharing.
Hello rebel007 , I wish they were all this easy …thank you I'm happy you enjoyed bapu Coolio Kenny.
back at you , thank you bapu The Band19 Gibson makes a guitar with a telescopic neck? What's next from them! Probably some kind of "robotic guitar?" I'd like this one please, and Christmas is coming? http://www.ebay.com/itm/1...mp;hash=item2594aa5887 If it "absolutely must be a Fender." I guess I could slum it with one of these... http://www.ebay.com/itm/1...mp;hash=item4d0b8fbc5a
Hello Robbie , I looked at the links when you posted them …i just noticed the link for the Tele is still active ... i see something like that and i say yeah , i've played and owned a couple of dozen Fender guitars of that vintage ... up until around the late 70's you could buy 50's Teles and Strats for a little over a grand ... I used to flip a lot of vintage guitars back then ,…both Fender and Gibson .. now when I look at the prices they get nowadays I think I should have bought a crystal ball btw …the Tele I'm playing on this I bought new in 84 and customised her...I hope I've learned my lesson thanks for the song listen Kenny
