Auto scrolling in PRV

I must have done something as in earlier versions of my current project the auto scroll in the PRV works fine, but in my current version it won't budge.

Is there a setting or option that turns this on/off?   Still works fine in track view.

This is a new feature in X2. If you click in the PRV during playback, then SONAR assumes you want to do some editing so it continues playback, but stops scrolling. To start scrolling again, right-click in the Time Ruler.

I'm not seeing this, when I right click in the time ruler I get a dialog box with insert marker, set loop points, set punch in, etc.

    could you clarify please

    1. Start playback.
    2. Click anywhere in the Notes pane an scrolling stops.
    3. Position your mouse above the Time Ruler so that it changes to a magnifying glass with a downward pointing arrow. Right-click to start scrolling again.

Scott means the time line in the PRV not the TV time line.

I should of known Scott would answer.

I find this very interesting, thanks for the tip Scott.
I've had this happen many times, and just assumed it was some sort of PRV bug.
I guess it makes sense from a work flow perspective, but when it first happened to me I had no idea it was intended in the program.
