Automatic VST background Scanner Still Working?

Any known issues recently pop up with the automatic background scanning of VSTi's?  Been doing some housecleaning, and normally, when I move a folder out of my VST location, the scanner will recognize, and start scanning.  For some reason, this is not happening now.  I checked preferences, and it's still set to Automatic.  
 
If I close Sonar, and re-open, then it will run the scan as usual, just not in real time anymore.

2 x 1TB Hybrid Drives
Windows 10
Sonar Platinum (Last Update)
Cakewalk Bandlab (Latest Update)
Roland Quad Capture (Bios 1.04 / 1.52 drivers)

    you might try a rest / rescan.
    maybe this will knock loose some rust and get thing going again.
    Im set to manual scan so I cant really say whats going on. sorry.
