Automatic gain staging

Hey!

I have mentioned this before. Can't understand why no DAW has this function yet.

One of the most boring things about mixing for me is gain staging. Say you have a project using 50 channels of audio that needs to gain staging. It can't be impossible to automate such a function? Just set the desired level and push a button. Sonar should then analyse all tracks and set the levels accordingly. Voila!
