Automation Guide-line feature

When using the automation lane, it'd make things easier/more convenient if there's like a dotted line that appears between two points that are at a different depth (up or down. or left and right), so when one selects a point, they'll have a frame of reference how near or far the point is from that depth (for example volume control).
