Automation Non-Response

I'm seeing an issue that was also an issue in X1. When creating Volume or Gain envelopes for tracks, sometimes the ability to move a pivot point or line/segment on the envelope stops responding to my moves, while other pivots and segments on the same track still can be moved. Sometimes I have to delete the entire envelope and start over for the track. Anyone else see this? Thanks! Also, for some reason, the Preview button on this board gives me an "undefined" when trying to preview my post in the latest Firefox.

Yes, the forum simply does not work properly with Firefox. Just use it as if it were Notepad and you'll be fine; can't do anything else with it (actually, less, as you can't create new paragraphs even)... This has happened to me too although I don't think it's a bug; just a bit of a fiddly way of automation inputting. I've found that a good way is to use the Smart Tool and draw in new automation nodes and move them into place. It somehow 'loosens' the nodes you were unsuccessfully trying to move, too.

Next time that happens, try simply closing and re-opening the project.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Yeah, that does work. The most famous fix. :)
