Automation Not Working! Help!

Longtime Cakewalk/Sonar User here

Just staring my first serious mix in X1 and... automation is not working. I create envelopes and they do nothing. Global and track automation reads are on... is there some weird setting I'm missing?

I'm hoping someone can help me out with this... kind of a biggie, and I have some things I have to get dome before Monday.

Upgraded to X1b... WOrking on Windows 7 64 but, but using the 32 bit version at the moment.

8GB ram... 3.4 GHz Quad... but can't imagine any of these are what is involved with this bug...

    How have you created your envelopes?

    Walk us through the steps you've taken.
