You have to assign the pedal a number controller (not a name) and the automate that numbered controller.

    See next post.

Right click on image to open (ina another tab) a larger image.

Get the automation dialog by pressing the AUTO button in lower right.

Then you draw an automation envelope on that parm on that looks like this.

For visual purposed I did not raise the envelope all the way to the top (which is 100 "unmuted") bu that is what you would do.

I'm at this same point with a Stealthpedal, where I have the automation configured as shown above but it's not recording the automation (yes, I have write enabled).  Any more ideas?

What bapu is suggesting is drawing in the automation. Just insert a node (double-click) and drag it to the top to turn the effect on, or drag it to the bottom to turn the effect off. You may also have to right-click on the envelope between the nodes and select "Jump".

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

After further troubleshooting I've narrowed it down to the automation recording for only a few seconds then stopping (the audio is still being captured though):

Then once it's stopped, it may not start ever again until I close and reopen Sonar fresh, and then maybe I get a few seconds of capture before the same thing again.  VERY frustrating.

Here's my automation settings within Amplitube just so you know I'm not a putz:

Further clarification (see post directly above)... it seems that I get about 1 minute after opening the project to record automation, then it stops as seen above and won't work again until I close Sonar completely and reopen.  So what happens at the 1 minute mark that causes automation recording to suddenly stop functioning altogether?

The entire time the pedal is controlling the wah fine, so I don't think the pedal is the cause (and I'm even thinking Amplitube can be ruled out(?)).  But if I can't get this working then I can't use the pedal for its intended purposes (home recording tracking).
