Automation not 'reading' ...

Hey guys

I just recorded some automation on an EQ band, it's showing up with all the nodes and the movement. It played back correctly first time round, I then started editing the nodes, and now the automation has no effect, the plug-in remains unaffected.


Any ideas what's going wrong?


Automation Read is enabled.

    I deleted the bus, recreated a bus, inserted the plug-ins again, automated. Same thing, automation not reading at all.


    I have two bus plug-ins being automated, one works fine. The other doesn't work at all. Same plug in.

    Did a google search and found a thread on here which solved my problem! (The search feature on here didn't return the same result)


    I had a Sonitus(?) compressor on the bus which I was using to sidechain. And a Waves Q2 for high/lowpass filter sweets.


    Had to put the EQ before the compressor. (solved problem)

    Sonitus seems to be the only compressor /plugins I can use as sidechain inputs.
