Automation recording from NI Kore 2 is messed up in Windows 7 x64

This is happening in 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Sonar so it's not just due to the bridge. Sonar is not recording automation from Kore properly - if you use the morph pad it just seems to record horizontal movements, not in any other direction

    I think I've found the bug:

    from the 8.52 update page:

    • Automation Write button in synth plug-in header did not always arm all automatable parameters

    so does this mean I've got to upgrade to get this bug fixed?
