Autosave stops X1 - anyone else?

I notice that Autosave tends to stop a project in mid track. Also, adjusting ProChannel EQ can do the same? Is this anything I can do anything about? I have 246.

    Well, IMHO, it's best not to rely on Auto Save anyway.  It's a simple habit to cultivate, pressing CTRL+S after every few edits.  I haven't lost a project in years now.  - and regardless of the particular problems in X1, I'm saying that I feel it's best to bypass that intrusive utility anyway.

    Autosave works perfectly for me. No freezes in any variant of X1 and i have applied all the patches/hot fixes.

    No problems here, used autosave since V2 without any issues. Saved me a lot of work more than once, although TBH I can't remember the last time I've needed the backup save but at least it's there if I do.

    IIRC autosave never saves while playing back or recording it waits until the transport has stopped and then saves. If it does save while playing back/recording it's never stopped my transport & neither do my own ctrl-s saves.

    Guys thanks. I've come to the realization that what was happening was the file was stopping for some other reason and I was immediately seeing the auto save kick-in and making a false axiom of equality deduction - i.e. thinking the the save was occurring during the playback and stopping X1. Moving from XP S 8.3.1 to Win 7 64 and Sonar X1 64 in a single bound and have developed a nervous hair trigger :-)
