Auugh! X1 Unpredictable selections in Piano Roll View

OK, I think Sonar thinks it knows what I want, but it's wrong! This is definitely a bug. I have high notes and low notes in the same track (left hand and right hand of a piano track). Across three measures, I *try* to select just the high notes. It also "decides" to select the low notes too. I can't make it stop. In all other versions of Sonar (and I've had Sonar since the 1.x days) I could select like that. Now, in X1, it's insisting that my rubberband selection should select the whole measure instead of just the notes I'm lasso-ing. Absolutely crazy and driving me mad.

Try showing the controller pane and then selecting the notes you want. I suspect you are also lassoing the velocity controllers hence selecting their notes.

You are correct, that did it. Another new feature I'm not fond of in X1. Thank-you very much for the advice.
