Available Drum Midi Patterns for strange timing?

Hey all,

I've had a heck of a time with a song of mine that's in 6/8 time. I don't know WHY I wrote it that way, but I did. I managed with some MIDI patterns I've found in that time, and did some finger-hammering to fill in gaps. What a pain.

Anyway, I was wondering firstly if there were more patterns available anywhere on the 'NET for download that deal with weird timing, and

2 is there a way in SONAR to set the song up in 6/8 (for instance)? I couldn't find anything in the manual.

thanks

I wouldn't call 6/8 wierd. Quite common. Slow blues.

Example: Led Zeppelin - Dazed & Confused (except the lead guitar section in the middle), You Shook Me, I Can't Quit You Babe, Since I've been Lovin' You, etc.

I guess this thread is a bit dated now, but check out this link. Midi grooves in all kinds of time signatures.
