    Roland is releasing new things...
Have already seen the Studiocapture.....that will retire my Quad..

I know IKMultimedia has opened their flood gate of MORE iCrap and LESS
PC updates and NEW and useful things for the REAL users...

An update to make Amplitube and T-Racks CS work with my Quadcapture would be welcome...
LIKE THAT WILL HAPPEN...  SAMPLETANK 3???  updates to the others in the
SampleTank line?  Oh...I bet SampleTank for iPhone and iPad,and Android, will be out before
    we get SampleTank 3...
    We shall see....

I don't fault them for going for a revenue stream but they left SampleTank users with all those libraries (like me) just hanging - as if it's still a 32bit world.  Thanks IK.

I'm watching the live stream from the Presonus booth.

Guess what, they remembered to bring lights for the video.

A band is about to start a live set.

I went over to Roland US to check out Roland direct 2013... I got to watch a pre made YouTube video with a pumped up John Tesh soundtrack and some 3d gfx animations of products that supposedly exist.

Gotta go the band is about to start at the Presonus booth.

    best regards,
    mike

There is an option for those who want the Sampletank content in 64 BIT Sonic Realities Infinety Player and its on sale at the moment along with all the Kapsules. Not that I am suggesting that you would go that route if you already have the content for Sampletank, but if you are thinking about buying it for the first time

I find the roaring silence from Cakewalk very disturbing. I really thought they would be out in full force with their touch-DAW technology and another update. I hope they showed up because they can't afford to coast at this point.

Presonus is going all out to show that actual bands, made of actual humans, are stepping up and recording great music while they are playing it.

They know who the customers are!!!

It seems like some companies are focusing on tools for the few customers that prefer to sit in a project bedroom all by themselves.

I do not think there's anything wrong with dong it all by your self in a bedroom, but I think there are a LOT more musicians out there that actually play with other humans and want to record great music while they are playing it.

Presonus has figured out who the market is and it seems to be catering to it.

    Wow.

     best regards,
    mike
