BFD Metadata Editor

A BFD user created a nifty Windows tool to edit BFD kit piece and preset metadata for pieces not properly tagged such as some Sonic Reality kits or Imperial Drums.

Find it at the fxpansion forum under expansion packs. This forum won't let me post a link to it!

Thanks. Wonder why I can't post it. My original message vanished.

FYI there is a new version out with a Mac version as well.

works on kit pieces, kits, presets on both individual files and the BFD database.

This is a must have if you use BFD 3 and want your kit pieces tagged properly for Sonic Reality expansions especially as well as FXpansion branded pack Imperial Drums. Plus it makes editing presets a breeze.

This is an excellent tool.

Took me a little while to figure out how to edit my preset library and in case anyone else is struggling you need to choose, BFD3 database (under Mode) and Presets (under Type) and all the presets names are in, C:\Me\AppData\Roaming\fxpansion\BFD3\Programs.database (it actually finds it for you when you)

I had been trying to point it to the system presets folder in, C:\ProgramData\FXpansion\BFD3\System\Presets
and wondering why nothing was listed.

I was able to get it working with the folder.  try clicking load after you navigate.  The older version autoscanned.
