BFD2 question - preview drums from mixer tab

BFD2 question - preview drums from mixer tab

in the bfd2 gui, when you are on the drum kit tab, you can preview a drum by clicking on the drum in the drumset area, however when you are on the mixing tab, i can't figure out how to preview a drum. for example if I want to add reverb or a gate or something to one of the drum channels, I would like to preview the drum rather than changing from the mixer view to the drumset view. anyone know how to do this?  I'm sorry if my terminoligy is way off.

    Alt click on the TV screen with the drum image.
