BFD2.1.x and X1b x64

Anybody get BFD2.1.x to work under any bridges in X1b x64?  It loads and plays (sometimes) but most of the time, it hangs and requires me to reboot my system.

Any tricks to getting this to work?  I have the latest version of BFD2 but not using the 2.2.x BETA version (I tend to wait under software is out of BETA).

Thanks in advance,
Jim

PS - I searched the forums first and couldn't find anything yet on this subject (surprisingly).

I've been using BFD2 with Jbridge with no problems at all in X1b.  My system is Vista64 16 gigs ram, Emu 1820m audio interface.   I didn't do anything special  to the daw tomake it run.   You might need to turn off online mode there on the bottom of the BFD2 window.

Same here, no problems on my end with BFD. There's a 2.2 update for it jk, give that a shot.

I using 2.1.0 on sonar x1b / win7 64bit and it works with no problems.

I don't use jbridge, just standard bitbridge.

I'm running BFD 2.2 under Sonar X1b 64 Build 255 on Win 7 X64 with just the regular integrated bitbridge - I haven't experienced the issue you describe, although I have struggled with synchronized playback since upgrading to X1. (e.g. BFD2 doesn't start playing automatically when Sonar X1 does)

Are you having this same lockup issue with any other plugins & is Sonar stable for you when not running BFD2?

Sonar is ROCK solid for me except the BFD2 issue.

What are the specs of your system and is it a dedicated DAW system?

Sonar is rock solid and I am only having problems with BFD2 and now Ivory 2.

Running 64 bit dedicated with  i7 870 and 4 gigs ram

I will try a reinstall of BFD2 later (with earlier suggest update instead of the latest beta) but I am not confident about it.  J bridge might be necessary.  More later as I am now completely consume with getting the Ivory2 64 bit to show up in Sonars vst plug in list...The Cantable works (standalone) and the vst 64 bit .dll in in the vstplugins folder and sonar scans it ok but it just won't then show up in the list...bizarre.
