BFD3 and Sonar 7

Hi. Can anyone tell me if BFD3 is either compatible or not compatible with Sonar 7?
Cheers,
Dave

Can't verify from personal experience, but I'd be very surprised if it wasn't compatible.

These days it's becoming commonplace to see incompatibilities with older versions of Windows (always because of the installers), and occasionally with video cards, but I've yet to see any VST effect or instrument that had compatibility issues between one version of SONAR and the next.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Hi Bitflipper. Thanks for your reply. I had bought BFD3 and it crashed Sonar 7 every time I loaded it. However, I bought Sonar X3 today and BFD3 loaded without a problem. Don't know if we say definitively that it's a no go with Sonar 7, but it looks like it may.

All I can add is that BFD2 worked fine with Sonar 6 ,7, 8 & the X series.

    BFD3 I've only ever used inside X3

Thanks Bristol_Jonesy. It's working with X3 now with occasional crashes if I up the detail too much. I only have 3Gb of RAM and I am pretty sure I'm going to need more to run it and X3 smoothly. Ah, the price of progress.
