Bapu: What 45 credit option? Can't find it. Anyway, I'm perusing through some of the newer amps that I don't have (already have full blown Amplitube and Fender pack) Obi: I have some suggestions for some new models...I notice under the Ampeg category that it concentrates on the bass amps (I had a 60's era B15N flip top and a 70's era SVT back in the day) But I also played guitar out of some absolutely killer Ampeg guitar amps. Can you guys look into the 60's era "Gemini", Reverberocket, and a fave of mine, the 70's era VT-40"? also the VT-22 was a killer amp and the mighty V-4" I have alot of different amps in my studio.......have you heard the Blackstar Club 40 amp? It would be cool to model this amp because the clean channel only has 1 tone control, but it works beautifully! You can go anywhere between chimey Fender to Marshall....and the distortion channel is stellar

Thanks....I bought the Carvin, and the '57 Champ....realized you have to buy the Champ cabinet separately. I fiddled around with the rack and stomp effects today.....great! But what I really love are the mikes and placements and changing the room size......this program really sounds great. Quick question...I'm trying the amps out is stand alone mode....even though I've set the latency to 256 samples, I don't hear any latency at all whileicking away......is this normal within Amplitube stand alone or do I give my RME UCX the credit?

Its really both. AmpliTube is designed to be incredibly low latency. We are musicians here of course! Wait til you start mixing and matching amps, cabs, pedals and then you'll get the idea to start running vocals and keys through AmpliTube! It's a monster when it comes to tone shaping.

Thanks Obi: I hope you guys consider the old Ampeg guitar amps I mentioned down the road. Also, how about Music Man amps from the 70's......the one Clapton used was excellent. I used several models back in the day and although Leo Fender designed them, I think they had their own vibe without being carbon copies of Fender models

Since we have hit 4 for the price of 1 in the Spread the Cred Group Buy, we have also extended the promo to November 11th! As for requests/suggestions for new gear models, we have a [url=http://www.ikmultimedia.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=2831thread[/url] on the IK forums for suggesting new gear and voting on upcoming gear. Check it out and submit a few of your own. Our whole team checks the IK forums for this very reason, might as well take advantage of it. :)

I'd kill for a good replica of the old Morley wah, the one that uses light and no potentiometer. A guitarist I played with once had one, it was all chrome stainless, I've NEVER heard a wah that sounded that good. I'd was noisy like a dying rabbit but man did it sound good.

An impulse loader done right. Preferably, something that would allow us to mix and match the best of impulses and the best of IK's own models. There's something about the cabs in Amplitube that's just a tad more lively and responsive compared to impulses - but I'd like to be able to layer something on it. An it's not just a matter of EQing. I guess I should just put AT on a buss, disable the cab and route it to 2 other busses, one w/ one instance of AT w/ just the cab and one w/ an impulse loader... I might try that. :)

Its been addressed any times before. It is in development. That is all I can divulge at this moment, no matter what I personally know or am in the process of testing...not that I'm testing it or anything new coming out soon....SampleTank 3 isn't whats next though. Expect to hear more news about SampleTank 3 towards the end of 2013.

Either way you get flack, maybe next time I'll keep my info to myself and give the standard coming soon response. I need to learn my lesson on these boards and stop giving out so much details on whats coming up next. Oh well, ya live and ya learn. Til then I'm happy with the new stuff in the Custom Shop and the new stuff coming.

IK take whichever decisions they have to take for whichever reason they have. I have no doubt that you'd probably much rather be announcing that ST3 is finally coming out next month or such. And in the same way, for whichever reasons we have (and there are many valid ones), many kinda lost faith, especially in the case of ST.

Til then I'm happy with the new stuff in the Custom Shop and the new stuff coming. We're happy to get the "hints" Obi....it's just kinda sad that IK have neglected their ALREADY loyal customers in favor of iCrap.....that is a truly sad statement to existing customers. We've actually been waiting for over 3 years for an update to these 32 bit programs, but Ik seems to be far more focused on "Dollar Apps" for the the iPhone and iPad. We've been told "It's coming" for over a year....and here we still sit waiting, while Ik continues to flood the market with iCrap. Now Windows 8 is here...and the programs have become INOP (at least for me, due to the Windows 8 Quad-Capture Driver) in stand alone mode....and very "iffy" in X2. We just think that the focus should be on those of us who have supported the company for YEARS...NOT on these new "kids" purchasing iCrap. But I guess that IK would rather make new dollars on the one time customer then keep supporting their existing customers. Not a wise business strategy IMHO, as there are MANY MANY MANY alternatives to the IK programs, and we're going to get tired of IK really fast. I'd rethink this strategy if I were IK...but that's just me...

But I WOULD like to be able to use the others when I want to....but, alas, can't.

@Rain Yeah sometimes its hard not to. @rtucker55 I do prefer to tell you guys the truth, we are working on it. A lot. @Musicman100 Meh, GS banned me so that's whatev. This and KVR are my toughest. Sometimes the Reaper boards. Really though its always a handful that make it miserable. The thing that sucks is they usually frequent all the same boards, so its usually the same people. I've even had people sign up as me on other forums and start spamming random stuff. @cclary We haven't neglected anybody. Its just using an iOS device seems to be better received, more popular and we want to push the limits of technology just like we do. Its not just kids either, though they get it right off the bat. The power, flexibility and ease of use. Plus that whole touch screen aspect REALLY changes things. Wise? Meh, we've been doing quite well lately and because of our iOS line we have been able to grow, hire more developers and get more stuff in the Custom shop, a whole new thing that'll blow your minds soon, ARC 2, the update for CSR (hows that for a hint...) and a few other surprises that'll make total sense for us. So, like I said, we ARE working on SampleTank 3. We just won't rush it. We know its been a long time, we know what we have and what people want and we are working towards bringing it.
