BREAKING NEWS!!

. BAPU POST DEEMED HELPFULL .

Coffee House  5/6 April, 2012

It's not often that a problem goes un-solved in the Coffee House, and this was to proove just such an occasion.  When a cry for help rang out out from a well flustered forumite from the English flatlands, BAPU came to the rescue.

The incident occured early this morning when FBB was trying to edit his forum sig.  "I'd been fighting with this **** forum software for hours" he told our reporter, "It just refused to save the new version of my sig, even though all I'd done was deleted just one word"
"I didn't know what to do.  Then, seemingly from nowhere, there was this strange sound, sort of like an Am but played on a bass with all but the Am string missing"
"The next thing I remember was waking up with my face planted in my keyboard.  There was a new post in the thread I'd started that appeared to give an answer to my sig problem, so I thought 'What the heck, anything's worth a try'. You know what?  It worked!"
It had indeed worked. FBB's sig was now correctly edited and saved and displayed exactly as 1 in 10 did. He concludes the interview with "Thanks bapu, don't tell anyone but that was a helpful post."
Indeed, a helpfull post.
Mekashi Futo, reporting for the CH Post. (not that it matters)

*Sheesh*  I saw it too and was going to keep quiet about it so it might quickly drop out of sight (like NOT telling anyone about that alien spaceship you saw above the neighbor's farm stealing cows with a tractor beam).

But NOOOOOO you had to go and make a big deal of it so now everyone will have to go check it out to verify such an unbelievable inconceivable claim!

I bet this goes to his head now and his post rate will increase. One useful post in nearly 36,000 is quite some hit rate. There'll be funny ones coming soon as well.....

I might be able to do that, any chance of turning it into an anti PC tirade though instead?

I'll turn it into an honestly critical appraisal if you ain't careful then you'll all be stuffed.

Until the thread gets pulled and I get evicted that is....

Clearly, Bapu was coached by an older bouy.

Now that he's getting all of this attention, he should remember, Fame has a price.  In this case, it also has a VAT, Shipping & Handling, Insurance, Care & Feeding, State & Local taxes, Federal taxes, Global taxes, Galactic taxes, Processing Fees, Periodic Service Charges, Maintenance Fees, and Union Dues (just to name a few).

I'm beginning to think that Mooch sometimes uses my account here.

I just new when he said "Here use my laptop to get on the forum" it was gonna go sour.

Well, I'd have to take issue with you there.

There are certain situations when a good blow-out can be preferable to finding out who became president somewhere.

But the circumstances do dictate the appropriateness of the act.

I mean... at a funeral service in church, or in a crowded lift, in a job interview or maybe when asking your fiancee's father for his daughter's hand in marriage... these opportunities are obviously fine. But never drop your guts - ever - if there's any danger whatsoever of following through and potting the brown.

Skid marks in the undershreddies are not big, and they're not clever.
