BREVERB 2 Upgrade
In the description of the BREVERB 2 upgrade, the description of the product states that it is "available as VST, AAX, RTAS, & AU as well as a standalone application". I take it to mean that this upgrade version is not "locked" to just Sonar X2, but can be used with ANY DAW , or can be used stand alone. Can someone in the know (hopefully someone from Cakewalk) please confirm one way or the other on this? Thank you.

The full version is a download from the Overloud site. There is only one full version of BREVERB 2 and it is not locked to SONAR.

And currently, the full version of Breverb 2 (not a sonar upgrade) is $137 on the Overloud website. Sonar upgrade is $129.

Good to know Vinny. I have been reading some reviews on it, and so far so good. Thanks.

I really like the Breverb2!! Great sounding and amazing flexibility. Does anyone know if the cakewalk version is compatible with the Mix pack presets on the overloud site. I tried loading them and get the error that my Breverb is not compatible, I know that the cakewalk version is downscaled from the main overloud one. For example, there are 4 more reverb types in the overloud version. Any comments on user experience with the Breverb would be appreciated. I find it to be really lush, and very usable. I also REALLY like the Rematrix Solo (Thanks Cakewalk!...makes me appreciate the lifetime membership I embarked on)...these reverbs are also, VERY usable and sound like the best PCM80! presets.

Those presets are not compatible with the CW version, only the full version of Breverb 2.

I only bought Breverb 2 last week and haven't had much time with it, but so far, I agree with your assessment.
