    So its a sidechain compresser with no side chain?
     
    If understand correctly it uses a LFO to modulate the compression.

    Hi, sidechainer is not a compressor, it's an effect that emulates the classic sidechained compressor effect of todays dance music.
    There's no compressor in it, and it's driven by an LFO, basically it's an an amplitude modulator with a PWM generator low-passed by an envelope follower.
     
    It's simple but saves you a lot of time if you are not that experienced with production.
