BUG REPORT: Transport stops when adjusting loop scope.
http://www.cakewalk.com/support/contact/Problem-Report-Status.aspx?ID=6222 STEPS: a) Play track b) Click loop button c) Adjust beginning/end loop markers EXPECTED Track keeps on playing with (c) happening. ACTUAL Transport pauses for about 5 seconds whilst you adjust the loop markers. Can anybody repro or is it just me? (64 bit windows, 64 bit Sonar X1C).

Can anybody repro or is it just me? (64 bit windows, 64 bit Sonar X1C). This is a well-known issue that comes under the general heading of "non-gapless" audio engine issues. In some cases it can actually cause a crash.

Thanks This is a "non gapless" feature maybe a good excuse but in my view not valid. If this was a "non-gapless" feature then the feature should be totally disabled during playback. How the loop marker can actually seriously effect the audio engine during playback is totally beyond me. It's not exactly altering the dynamics of any sound. I can only assume ports are being opened/closed when not required, but this is just an assumption rather than proven fact.

Some of the trouble you're experiencing may be related to your other response-delay issues. I just double-checked the behavior on my DAW, and the interruption does not occur until I release the mouse button to drop the loop marker in a new position, and then lasts only a fraction of a second.

Hit & miss here. I can move loop markers and the loop around fine until I try and cross the now time with either the loop start or finish marker and then I get the pause or dropout.
