Baby's Got Her Corset On
Here's another tune from my new CD. I'd like some opinions on the mix. Is it too loud, not loud enough, any criticisms you might have, I'd like to hear 'em. Thanks in advance, and I hope you enjoy it! Baby's Got Her Corset On

Great tune. The lyrics are clever, the mix is good, and the guitar is humming. You should be proud of this one.

Lynn Great tune. The lyrics are clever, the mix is good, and the guitar is humming. You should be proud of this one. Thanks Lynn. I gotta tell you, I went to your site and watched the "Rivers Of The Sky" video and was blown away. Great song, great video, GREAT work. There are so many powerful images in there, but the last couple of minutes, with the group singing and the soldiers saluting their fallen comrades, gave me chills. To me, makes my song seem trivial in comparison. I salute you.

Thank you for the compliment, but trust me, your song is not trivial in comparison by any means. You've done yourself proud.

Hey Rob- Once I saw the title, this commanded my immediate attention. Cool fun tune, and really well played and sung. The drum kit sounded a little 'toppy' to me, but I was admittedly only listening on my pc speakers, so it's hard to tell if it really was lacking punch, or if it was just a limitation of my listening environment. Still liked it though... nice job.

I agree with philz re the drums sounding a bit thin, but everything else sounded much like it should to me. Sounds like it was fun to do.

Great job. Drums may have about 20% too much verb for my taste.

bapu Great job. Drums may have about 20% too much verb for my taste. 20-40% too much? LOL, sorry, I couldn't resist. The drums are the Steven Slate "Bonzo" kit and they are a little boomy, but too me it kinda fit the song. But you might be right, may need to gate the kick and snare a bit. Thanks a lot guys, I really appreciate it!
