Well mixed and presented piece of music.  I didn't hear the original mix so I can comment on improvement from the previous mix.

I have to admit I'm not convinced about the timing of the piano in the mix.  It feels like it is dragging a bit to the drums (or it could be the opposite).  Was it added after the rest of the tracks were layed down?

Everything sounds great and I really enjoyed it.

    Thanks for sharing,
    Tom

Sounds great!  Around 2:02 the end of the 2nd chorus before singing "back to lonely.." there is a slight timing issue, the instruments did not come in together.  Another spot is 3:19 where the lead singing sings "now I, back to lonely.." it seems a bit hurried up.

Hi Scott, this mix does sound better. I would rather hear you play the fiddle and guitar and lose the vocals, vocal,  but that's probably not what the "artist" is expecting . Good job, considering ....

Well I apparently missed the original post, too, but this sounds nice. The mix fits the style well. The arrangement has some interesting twists. That one would keep you on your toes playing live!!

Nice job on your playing and production!

I must have missed the original otherwise I would have been checking this forum every five minutes in anticipation. This is a truly great song performed with panache and virtuoso skill. Definitely one of the very best I have heard on this forum. Love it.

Better... There are some timing anomalies between the drummer and other pieces. This is better though.

    Very nice song.

I agree that some of the transitions between the two speeds seem a bit off (others seem fine).  But that's a small nit pick.

Scottybro, this is really nice - but, there are timing issues in a couple of places. It seems like it is between the drums and guitar - hard to tell - and it's very slight.

Other than that - this is great.

Thanks for checking in, everyone. Yeah, he set up the rhythm with his a. guitar which was rushed and screwy, the his vocals followed that, then I had to follow all that....yikes! The only way to fix the timing is to start from scratch. He's happy with it though. LOL

sounds really good, Scotty.  As always it's a nicely produced tune.   Is it an original tune?

    Scott,

Like the song, vocals, guitar performance( the guitar harmony solo is a nice touch), like the tempo changes too.  As others pointed out there are some odd timing issues during the transitions but quite good overall.   Fiddle is pretty cool too.
