Back after 10 years.

Hi everyone, I used to record music using Sonar 1.0. After 10 years away I installed the old program again and want to record some songs again and found out I forgot some basic functions. I used to be able to record midi, audio, no problem, doing mastering, exporting and burning CDs with my own music. All cool. But now I don't even know how to master. Say I have three audio tracks and want to make one final mix stereo so I choose a new audio track and want to record and nothing happens. The new track refuses to record the other tracks. Could you help?

    After some doing something with the sound card and its mixer I switched things off and on and at last the track started recording, don't know why not before as i had wave recording ticked in the sound card mixer. I got a lot of feedback and looping but sorted that out reading the manual. But I am sure I'll be back soon with more questions.

    That's a pretty old version.

    Assuming they are all audio tracks, all you do now is CTRL-A to select all 3 tracks and then File-Export-Audio and select WAV format.
