Back from nice vacation

Rented a condo right on the shore of Cape May...it was a really nice trip. Went whale watching and according to the boat captain,it was only the second time in 17 years that they had seem a whale that close to the boat....Went parasailing to 500 ft. The lobster House, The Ugly Mug...chilling on the beach. The weather was excellent.

Immediately after coming home we hosted a steak cookout, lots of preparation involved. Had about 20 Guests, lots of food. I am sore but had a great time....Ugh..I need another vacation.

    Sounds wonderful.

Except the part about the whale watching (I get sea sick on small boats) and the para sailing (afraid of heights) and chilling on the beach (got more than my fill as a child).

So I guess the steak cookout sounded wonderful. Well except the 20 guests. I had a migraine today so crowds were not on the top of my list.

I have no problems with steak.

Yeah, just checked, I definitely have no problem with steak.

Yeah we were 12 miles out in the Atlantic but as far as boats go it was about 50 ft. long. I got a little queasy but never lost my supper, just queasy. We caught video of it but I wasn't sure how to get it on here.

I had fought having the cookout for about two weeks but my boss won that argument. I thought it was a lot to do right after a trip.First noone could make it and then everyone showed up.

Spent most of Sunday washing out chairs, cleaning the pool, setting up patio umbrellas and such and going to the grocery store. The evening ended with a Kum BA Yah kind of feeling around the outdoor fireplace. The steak was a hit....I had an extra one if you had been closer.

Sounds like a great time.  Did you say whale steaks?    I hope your boss and coworkers appreciate all of that effort.

Should auld acquaintance be forgot--hey, who the hell are you guys?
