Back to The Future - A Pina Colada Moment

For about three years in the 90's I played in an outstanding band. We opened for Edgar Winter, Three Dog Night, and played every suburban out door fest in Illinois. Ok not every but.....We played a really lot of them. Eventually, we split up and everyone lost contact with each other and we all moved on.

I have been trying to put Risky Business together for about a year with some success but not exactly what I was looking for. I have been telling my wife  we need a Steve. Steve was the front man in the band I played in through the 90s. If only we had a Steve. Steve had a great ear and great stage presence and vocal ability. Plus Steve was good at teaching the band harmonies. He had great teaching technique for that. He Could teach a deaf man harmony. We need a guy like that. Plus Steve can sing three hours straight and bounce around stage, he had great stage presence.  Last Sunday I knew we were auditioning two singers. Jamie and some other guy named Steven. When I pulled in the parking lot for rehearsal I found out who Steve was. My old friend from the 90s. He knew he was auditioning for me. I didn't know until I pulled upped and read his text. We hugged talked and laugh. We have a new lead singer. I can smell success. I love being surrounded by great musicians. So how do you like them apples?

Well -That's all I got.

Hope everyone here in the Coffee House is doing well and Bapu isn't causing too much riff raft!

So did I...   You said 2 guys turned up for audition and one turned out to be your old mate, and you have a new singer.  You never said it was Steve...

It was Steve >> This guy >> http://riskybusiness.us/steven He's the new singer

not this guy -- this guy was the other guy who auditioned - >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOE8E0Mxlbo

He sang better than he announced - I'll say that

Well I hope it's all cleared up now Karen

I assume you didn't have him try and work with Bapu, ya?  You wouldn't want to kill his confidence naturally...

    (Cool story though!)
