Thanks so much, I really appreciate the repeated listens and all the comments from everyone. A fresh persepective can be so handy after listening to the same song for 8 hours. I might make one or two more small changes, once my back starts feeling better and I can get back in the studio, but I think this bad boy is about ready to start shopping around with. I really think this is one of my best if not the best breakbeat song I've done so far. I think a combination of better gear, more experience, and plenty of feedback really took this to the next level. Now I just actually need to make some money on it, lol. That's the real hard part.

@ProjectM For sure, lol. Actually I do breaks because I love it. I understand there's probably not that much money in it. Still a bit would be nice. I remember a hip hop beat I did got used in a track with over 1m plays, and even on the radio, but just never made any cash. Still that's why I became a CPA first and a musician second. Sure it would be great to make a living at this, but I know it's hard. Accounting, tax and financial planning services are I think a bit easier. At Djjhart, Thanks man I appreciate the listen :)

You begin with the love and move on to survival. It's not about making a deal anymore, it's the deal you make. I've been lucky mostly, worked hard secondly, been falling on my arse more times than I can count but kept delivering, and to make sure I can pay my bills I work in this post and dubbing studio because making music isn't neccesarily paying off. Although, sometimes it does but I never know if it will continue to do so. Playing music in front of people, now that's a different story;) However, just keep at it and work with your tracks like you have with this one - make the next one even better - and keep pushing your tunes to the right people and you'll never know. And by experience I will advice you to never underestimate the power of a sync lisensing. Selling the track on beatport will pay a little - but having it in commercial or movie will finance a week of music making for you - or more

Ok, made some last changes on the first part of the song. changed some vocal samples, and some vocal timings, also a bit of pitch issues. IMHO, really helped pull the first half (or really 3rd) together. I promise I won't make any more changes (or will I?)

Honestly, I can't remember exactly what it sounded like before. But this sure sounds good. :)

Kroneborge (or will I?)
You've been spending too much time in the Coffee House I can't put my finger on what you've changed, but this version seems, somehow, more focused and tighter. This isn't my first choice genre, but it is an enjoyable listen. I like it.

You've been spending too much time in the Coffee House [/quote/ Isn't any amount of time in the CH to much time? As for the mix, I turned down the bass, just a teensey bit, and also used the Ozone stereo widner in reverse (about -.2). to help tighten it a tad. While listening on some other systems I thought it was juts a tad too boomey. Anyway, thanks !

Janet Honestly, I can't remember exactly what it sounded like before. But this sure sounds good. :) Thanks for the extra listen Janet, most of the changes are pretty small. Just a bit of vocal switches at the beggining. I thought they were holding the first half back.
