Bad Cross of app functionality

Today I was goofing around making a video on robots...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVoz5rUvj2E

And I imported my simple video into Sonar to add a couple of loops randomly around the project for fun.

So, I was playing the project and dragging in loops and hitting space and W for RTZ and dragging in more loops.

At one point, I clicked a loop and it went into 'Rename' mode and I hit space + w to stop play back and rtz, but all I did was rename the loop as the extension only, with no other name.

Oops.

So, in our browser within Sonar, it would be great if you could detect a first character in the file name as a space and prevent me from accidentally renaming all my loops [space].Rx2 or [space]w.Rx2

In file explorer apps this is not a risk because the space bar hasn't been re-purposed in those apps as a start/stop tool.

I'm a little afraid to ask, but... am I the only one who's made this improvement on my loop library?

StudioCat > I use Windows 10 and Sonar Platinum. I have a touch screen.
I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.
