Bad DirectSound driver error.

I got this error attempting to play an MP3 I exported using the Cakewalk MP3 encoder. I was using Winamp to play the MP3

'Please install proper drivers or select another device in configuration.'
Error code: 80004005

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this due to invalid choices in the encoder dialog?

Cheers

Good old 'google' provided the solution.
It appears that the DirectSound plug-in used by Winamp wasn't pointing to my M-Audio Audiophile sound card. I selected the correct soundcard from the list and now I'm back in business.

To check it out select Preferences.Plug-ins.Output, double-click on DirectSound output. The available devices will be selectable from the Device tab.
