Bad News From the Doctor?
A nurse just called and told me I have pneumonia. Then she says don't go anywhere cuz she's going to confer with the Doctor on what to do? I don't know what to think of this. I had a test yesterday. I just hate hospitals!

As much as I don't like going to hospitals/Dr.'s offices, I'd still follow the advice of your Dr. If you do have to be admitted, the good side to this is your recovery time should be much less (with the proper treatment) than being at home, and you're less likely to give it to someone else. Wishing you a speedy recovery Bill.

Thanks for the responses and good wishes! Well another day at the Hospital and more tests and xrays. I didn't have to be admitted, though the way the Nurse was talking I thought I was going in for sure. I got a shot and put on a 3rd antibiotic. I have to go in Tues. or call if things change. My chest burns from the pneumonia but I have codeine cough syrup to help me sleep better. This all just reinforces what I always say. Gettin old ain't for wimps!
