RE: Band Meeting 2009/06/10 07:52:06 (permalink)

ORIGINAL: bapu

Is everyone on board with both Bing and Mountain as songs?
I am.

Being as my mail seems to disappear into some void presently I'll put these replies here.

1/ I am too.

2/ (Bow Before) in brackets, Asparapuss, 2 s's.

3/ The Coffee House Band works for me.

4/ 42DD, are they really that big?

5/ What mix was actually chosen in the end?...I'm still not clear.

6/ Nice lyrics

7/ I like that idea, especially if I'm not paying. Which is not to say that I undervalue Midgets, especially not the one that looks like a scaled down Lara Croft.

8/ 42, discarding the remaining fraction.

9/ Tempo Map?!?!?

10/ Feet, I definitely have soft spot for feet.

Yes - I like yours too though Ed.

Still, we're not up against any deadlines - which is cool.

Psst - be very careful what you say, Jonbouy's out on day release

Be extra careful what you say, Space may turn it into lyrics

Already done
Verse 1
Be careful where you go
Be careful what you say
I think you outta know
Its Jonbouy's big release day

You'd better lock the door
And throw away the keys
Cause no one's ever safe
When Jonbouy's on release.

Chorus
When Jonbouy's on release
Better keep your kids inside
When Jonbouy's on release
your life might just be fried

When Jonbouy's on release
Your money is as good as gone
When Jonbouy's on release
You'd better just stay home

Want the second verse?

It's never that though is it? I mean not 'full release' like advertised. Sure I come out of there feeling perfectly limber yet still unloved and unlovable...

Man, that's 3 of my ears I've had to cut off this week already...

Gentlemen...

I've managed to completely balls up the new Soundclick page

I registered the account and clicked to get the activation details, much later after not receiving any notification, I realised the e-mail address I'd entered was misplelled .. D'Oh!!

I've e-mailed Soundclick support to see if they can unfreeze the account or cancel the username so I can start again.

Next time I pull someone up on their spelling, remind me of this

Why has Space got a Snowman with candy apples for eyes as his Avatar today?

Candy Apple Snowman
Take care of me today.
Candy Apple Snowman
I don't what to say.

Candy Apple Snowman
Your eyes look like a ray.
Candy Apple Snowman
Chb'n, chb'n, phwaaay!

(then the coloured girls go)
Chb'n, chb'n, phwaaay! Chb'n, chb'n, phwaaay, waayowaayoway.
Chb'n, chb'n, phwaaay! Chb'n, chb'n, phwaaay, waayowaayoway.

(fyi: Chb'n is pronounce like 'chibben', of course)

I've got the rest of it if you guys think it has legs. (even if they are only Candy Apple legs)

Verse 1
Be careful where you go
Be careful what you say
I think you outta know
Its Jonbouy's big release day

Want the second verse?

I think I may be able to create a nice punkified tune to go with these wonderful lyrics

Verses 2 and 3 please.....

And a nice quiet spot in the middle so the audience knows when to start gobbing at the singer

I am reworking Bing to include the concept of him spawning Asparapuss. I put a heavier guitar part up for TaterEd in a folder on the drop box. I want to make the vocals evil. My internet at home has been down so I have not been able to upload anything new for days.

Good thing this is closed band meeting where the general public can't hear of our release plans or our progress on songs.

Or, that space's internet is down leaving his fortress vulnerable to theft of his $1.2MM assets (and that's just the guitars, kidz).

I wonder what them unique synths are worth as well.

Not to mention the whole UAD ball of wax, or the impromptu midget party fund that's stashed under the sofa.
