Bands wot I have been in.

Chronologically..

One-Eyed Ivy Tumulty's Blues Band (lasted about a week)
The Model (lasted far too long)
The Stance (quite 'good on the night' Police style 3-piece, lovable but lunatic drummer who carried a chisel in his coat pocket 'just in case')
Fat Cat Blues Band (not enough blues, too many John Mellancamp and Springsteen covers)
Jumpwagon (lots of blues, went down well at the right venue)
Slow Marching Band (online duo with Larry Hansen from CT)
Nettlesmith (duo with singer/songwriter Tim Wilkinson currently on hiatus due to 'life')

You?

About three unnamed bands from 1967 through 1968

Named
1. The Nuckromancer (wrote original songs and played some covers)
2. The Star Spangled Grahampa (total cover band for about 2 years)
2.a. An interim 1 week period where Burleigh Drummond was our drummer before we found our final dummer.
3. That band with Chas Sandford (all originals, ended in 1971), we had too many names to remember
4. Mars Hall (all original glam band, lasted about 6 months played one gig)
5. Czygzy (lasted about three weeks, learned their four original songs, band fell apart)
6. A garage band that never had a name. We wrote four songs and broke up after a year (in 1980). One of the songs was Megaton Maniac which The CHB redid.

Not including various teenage "learning experiences"...

Naked For Jesus (think Sarah McLachlan with an acoustic punk band)
Swing Strings (tied my fingers in knots trying to play Django Reinhardt)
Lovejoy (blues-rock)
Sprawl (criticized for not sounding "Canadian" enough, but nearly became a career)
Generalized (a studio-only techno-blues project)
Boys From County Hell (replaced Beepster as guitarist in this Irish cover band)
Gang O'Devils (same as BFCH, but the singer got replaced, it got weird when he was the last remotely-Irish member)

This should be easy since there have been so few, but...

Off The Shelf (featuring Doug Ingle Jr., son of the keyboardist for Iron Butterfly)
Head Rush (which would have been Random Precision if the bass player had his way)
Foolish Pleasure (with Craig Goldy)
Bluezero (my electronic/trance stuff)
Sky Blue Voodoo (my rock stuff)
Mushroom Farm (a colab with a guy in the UK and a singer in Belgium)

Time for all of you to head over to Beyond My DAW!

Yeah, Simon was someone you want in your corner if there was 'trouble'  He also had one of those studded belts, which would be unbuckled and wrapped around his fist at the slightest provocation - and his jeans never never fell down!

Sleepwalkers 1989-ca 1993 (I wanted to play the drums but ended up as a bass player. Named after a Level42 song)
Ugly in the morning 2013-now (cover band - playing bass)
Just as Blue 2015-now (blue grass band - playing fiddle)

I've also been playing in at least two string quartets and some orchestras but that doesn't count, right?
