Well, I've seen many shows that I liked but two stand out because of events that followed them.
Lynyrd Skynyrd, at Mile High Stadium, two weeks before the plane crash.
Tommy Bolin, at McNichols Arena. He opened for Aerosmith. They sucked, but he was game on. Two days later.....Man, what a loss.

Bob, you won't be offended if we don't invite you to the first CHB gig will you

Heh, the jealousy I feel about some of these is tempered by what is clearly my relative youth!

James Brown (in 2001) Words cannot describe his awesomeness, the band came on and were vamping, as the band leader introduced them all, they were (as you would expect) incredible. But, the thing that nailed it was that when he walked on stage and they somehow went from perfect to 'more perfect', that's power.

Kraftwerk
Radiohead (Supporting The Frank and Walters) I also subsequently saw them when they slayed Glastonbury with The Bends, it was nice to have seen them at both ends of that part of their journey
Ride (on the Nowhere tour)
Edwin Collins
Autechre (couple of times in the early days, saw them doing Incunabula stuff)
T-Power at Tribal Gathering
The Orb
Los Campesinos (not famous I know but I think they're going places and their live show was great!)

Currently I'm desperately hoping that Steely Dan give it another outing, I'm late to the party but they are awesome!

Scientist live dub mixing The Upsetters last year in Bristol.
They came on an hour late, played for only an hour, but wow!

I'd have loved that one.

I wonder why they were late...

Apparantly it was because the soundcheck wasn't right. There was a distinct lack of soundchecking going on though
Reminds me of the time another band of a similar genre were late on because "the drummer got lost in the car park".

Nice one for recognising the names though, most people don't seem to know who they are, including those who
claim to know their reggae.

CuBase, Ableton, Steinberg UR-22 MKII, i7-4790K 4.00 Ghz, 32Gb Corsair Vengeance Pro RAM, Windows 10.
