Bandzoogle or Bandvista?

I’m looking at changing my web hosting platform.  For now, I do it all myself using Dreamweaver and a hosting company.

I’m now looking at Bandzoogle and Bandvista as new options.  These companies help with the design and hosting of web sites specifically for musicians.  My interest comes from the added functionally they offer (compared to what I am doing now).

I wonder if anyone here is using either of these services and have opinions pro or con.

Here’s the links:

Thanks.

What do you feel you are missing now?

My observation about making websites for smaller enterprises is that often times the hardest thing to get a small operation to provide is content for you to use on the site.

Big corporations know how to produce adequate and appropriate content... smaller operations don't have the same resources and often times... vision.

When I look at examples at both those websites they display lots of content like band photos and custom graphics that make the pages look really well done.

As far as I can tell the hardest thing for a owner/operator to set up is a small sales system to sell song downloads directly from their own page.

So, what is it that you wish you could do? Maybe some of us can help?

    best regards,

Well, for one thing I would like to be able to integrate social media sites (like Facebook) with my site so that I don't have to post the same content in several different places.

Also, a more dynamic (and attractive) photo page would be nice too.

I guess I kinda feel like my site is Web 1.0 and I'd like to modernize it Web 2.0 and beyond.
