Banned from Facebook again - lol
I'm up to 30 day bans now it seems. This latest one is hilarious and shows just how ridiculous snowflake culture has become. I was banned for "hate speech/bullying" for making the comment that "this current trend in clown makeup is going to look ridiculous in 10 years time" - I mean it was under an article about makeup and all, so it's not as if it wasn't in context. Still not sure whether I insulted girls who wear lots of makeup or actual clowns. Oh well.

You probably should have put that in an FaceBook advertisement and paid in rubles. That avenue seems to be immune to oversight.

Rational folks like you shouldn't even bother with Facebook, Sharke. Besides, now that Sonar isn't going anywhere, you've got the best forum in the world, and it's probably going to get even better. Unless all those Bandlab users are snowflakes too. Let's hope not.

Nothing more than that I subscribe to a few news sources which have the occasional "lifestyle" type articles, and like an idiot I chime in now and then....

Facebook's just another communication platform like any other, there are idiots and nutjobs on every platform (including this one). I guess the advantage a social media platform like Facebook has over this one is that you get a stream of articles based on publications and blogs that you've decided to follow. Plus I use it to engage in banter with friends and family from across the pond. I mean if all you want to do is communicate with your friends and family, you can do that. You don't have to follow any pages. I do though, you get news updates and also interesting updates and articles on your hobbies (like music production).
