Bapu is my new God

Bapu is my new God.

Religion is not allowed in this section.

Therefore Bapu can no longer be discussed on these forums.

Now to start a cult based on Cakewalk to cause everything to crash. :D

I first thought of addressing the issue as God Bapu also. I came to the conclusion that the appropriate title is Master Bapu. I rest my case.

I've been educated to the concept that all Master Bapu plays IS a bass solo in it's own right!

If Bapu is God, then who is the "anti-Bapu"?

And what does he play? Accordion? Db major? Should I be scared of him?

In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

But the cowbell has a note.

Bagpipes are tunes to the key of "S", no?

Bagpipes were designed to scare the %&£& out of people.  Much like the siren attached to a Stuka dive-bomber was.

I wonder how Bagpipes caught on outside of a military context and yet the Stuka siren didn't.

Or is the vuvuzela perhaps just a pocket Stuka siren in disguise?

These are the things that keep me awake at night.

Had a master piper help me on my last CD.  Wanted him to improvise, i.e., to jam with the song.  I should have recorded the conversation.  I needed a translator...

In the end, we found some public domain music that fit.
