We're right in the middle of summer (here in the States)......currently in a tropical storm with LOTS of rain (Florida).
 
Are your summers generally very short......like 3-4 days?

We usually have a couple of months of summer, but this one hasn't been very good.
3-4 nice days at a time, then windy and rain

No, it's forbidden by law to drink in a public place 
I remember having a beer when seeing a movie in California, though. That was nice 

There are some theatre's here where you can have dinner and drinks.....of course, I don't how good the food, drinks, and movie will be.
 
The lad will like hanging out with you and going to the movies.....he'll have to wait to get home for Beer O'clock.

I had to take a break from digging 
His response to his room looking like that was: "I'm just a guest" 
He'd take his stuff with him / tidying up when he leaves..
Wonder if 3 months of dishes, empty bottles, dirty socks, the pc he borrowed the last time he was home (and didn't return, still here) etc is included in "taking his stuff / tidying up"??

They'll both be living approx 7 hours drive away from "home" in 5 days...
It will be quiet 
It'll be strange, but at the same time, about time 
"We" haven't been "us" in almost 20 years, apart from a couple of trips...

That's trilling.

My Manuel Rodriguez has been more or less in his possession since he got home.
He even left his own Fender acoustic guitar (where he lives), as he likes mine better  
And knew he'd have access to it when here 
It just sounds and plays THAT good 

It'll need new strings before I can use it for any recordings..
It's had hours of use every day, for almost 3 months
