I always have the curtains and shades and blinds closed.  Day and night have no meaning to me anymore.

Glad to have you back Zargg. I was beginning to worry a little. Life things.........oh man. I won't start. I'll just say it's the Christmas season here. Makes my job a lot busier. Other "life stuff" I won't mention. Would be TMI. Just one quick tip. If you go to the drive in at the bank, don't put the pen in your mouth.

I dreamed my wife and I were at a bar and I kept getting notes from other women with their number on them.
 
Awkwarrrdd....

Had a lot happening this week...my bro-in-law who's stationed in Guam got in a motorcycle accident (on his way to the AFB), and is being flown to Hawaii for multiple trauma surgeries (shattered pelvis, ankles, wrists, internal bleeding etc...). He's very lucky and blessed to be alive (per the paramedics). Apparently, there aren't any trauma surgeons in Guam and the orthopedic surgeon said it's too complex of a surgery for him to do.   
He's been in the ICU for a couple of days now and looks to be stable to take the 6hr flight (tomorrow). My Mrs. is trying to go to Guam to take care of the 2 little ones while his wife goes with him to Hawaii. Your thoughts and prayers for him would be greatly appreciated.....he's a good guy serving his country.

Wow, that's nasty, hope he recovers quickly Mesh.

Spoke with him and he's in good spirits. The missus leaves tomorrow AM and I'm in charge of the little ones.....becan, pizza, and DQ are on the menu.

At least the lack of tracking is for a good cause.

My thought for the day- Life is if full of trouble. Have fun when you can.

Sorry to hear about your BIL Mesh. Better days ahead.

Good news, all his surgeries were successful and apparently now he has to stay in Hawaii until March (to reroute/reverse a surgery on his privates  as well as physical therapy). There was a misadventure after he got out of the first surgery where the charge nurse forgot to give him pain his meds (and had left for the day) just after the anesthesia wore out (needless to say, the whole ward heard him screaming and he was in tears). Last night he had his collarbone, both wrists/fingers, left knee, and both ankles fixed...all were broken in many places. The man's lucky to be alive.
 
On the bright side, the Air Force is taking very good care of him and his family with all their expenses, accommodation, and any other needs.
