My friend Nate's band Noctomb is having a CD release party on Oct. 8 at the Pour House in Raleigh.
All are welcome.
Some type of Metal music, mostly instrumental with a few songs with croaking metal singing.

I wasn't prepared for this. I didn't stay in a Holiday Inn last night. I haven't had 18 mugs of coffee (yet). I haven't stretched properly. I didn't get a full 12 hours of sleep. There was an accident on the highway. I didn't have enough time to study. Barney ate my homework. Something just reminded me of Barney. I'm a victim of circumstance. I didn't choose my ancestry. I'm not wearing the required uniform. It's not my fault...

I am utterly and completely disgusted with myself. More than usual. I mean. No, it isn't yet. I am still working on it, but it has quite a bit farther to go. On the positive side, some of the concepts are hurting my brain. 
 
Shirley is not responsible for my "issues". I did contribute a short story to another anthology. The collection was just released for free on Smashwords. There's a link to it on my blog for anyone who might be interested. Thanks for asking. I will resume the self-administered shock therapy.

I'll be doubling the FSF's intellectual output by going off-line for a few days.  I'll be visiting family and I may have the occasional chance to check in.  I should be back for my self-abuse on Monday or Tuesday.
