I just had a DAW thought.....

I was avoiding other DAWs I own mainly because they did not support/recognize the audio portion of my Tascam FW-1884. As a Control Surface they support it in Mackie Emulation mode.

Now that I have an RME Fireface UFX and use the FW-1884 as a control surface I should be able to run those other DAWs I own.

What a banker.........


A Banker parks his brand new Porsche in front of the office to show it off to his colleagues.

As he's getting out of the car, a lorry comes speeding along too close to the kerb and takes off the door before zooming off.

More than a little distraught, the Banker grabs his mobile and calls the police.

Five minutes later, the police arrive. Before the policeman has a chance to ask any questions, the man starts screaming hysterically: 'My Porsche, my beautiful silver Porsche is ruined. No matter how long it's at the panel beaters it'll simply never be the same again!'

After the man finally finishes his rant, the policeman shakes his head in disgust.

'I can't believe how materialistic you bloody Bankers are,' he says. 'You lot are so focused on your possessions that you don't notice anything else in your life.'

'How can you say such a thing at a time like this?' sobs the Porsche owner.

The policeman replies, 'Didn't you realise that your arm was torn off when the truck hit you.'

The Banker looks down in horror.

'F***ING HELL!' he screams........'Where's my Rolex????

nobody is down here becuse every one is a tither upstairs about X2  the excitement has reached a fever pitch...

I was in a tither once.  I had to use a roll of duct tape, three chocolate donuts, a stern glance, and a coat hanger to get out of there.

I try not to go upstairs as much (only when things are dead in the FSF.......which is ver rare)

Now that there's a lot of buzz with X2 coming out, I see a lot of potential for comedy.

someone should start a thread with an X3 wishlist

or start a DAW comparison thread....

It's like those wind up toys.........continuous fun!!

The problem is, people are comparing similar products and solutions.

I think we should start a fred comparing X2 to String Theory.  Chances are very high, some upstairs would claim to be masters of both.

I like it when somebody drops the inevitable, "that's like comparing apples to oranges."

That one is almost as good as Cake = Bakers but not nearly as funny though.
