Jess, I dew, an I am on win 10 Pro and I have the same darn wired connection problems also !!!!!!!
the PC has a wireless card built in and then the network works OK so its knot my router/ISP.. I installed the latest drivers but no good..

Ohh yea its as slick as owl snot... love the performance !!!!!

I've never seen a snotty owl, but will take your word for it ....yeah, that SSD performance (boots up in 9 secs./instant launch of programs etc...) is fantastic. I'm thinking of getting an SSD for my samples drive.....now that prices are coming down quite a bit.

So, does the wireless card work better (without any dropouts) and is more stable? My MB also has a built in wireless card (802.11ac WiFi), but I've never used it and willing to give a try (if it's an improvement). Since I game on my machine (online), this dropout problem is a huge issue as I get kicked out in the middle of battle and then I'm ready to take someone (at Microsoft) DOWN!! lol.

Just be careful about those SSD's!  They don't "start to fail," they just die.  So consider getting two and RAID'ing them (you only need them for the OS drive anyway and that can be small - keep your data on a much larger separate disk).

Actually, one of the better setups now-a-days, is to have two smaller SSD's in a RAID-1 configuration along with two 4 TB's also in a RAID-1 configuration (try to use the exact same drive for each set if possible).  Backups are always a good idea, but not losing any data in the first place is even better!

The resemblance in uncanny.....

I've always wondered about that word since it seems to imply that the opposite (when something is natural or ordinary) would be "canny" which doesn't exist. Or maybe the opposite should be ununcanny?

Ewe knead to use the Bapu Dictionary......uncanny = unfunny
                                                               funny >= bunny
                                                                  cake = bakers
