But lemme fill in the blanks, I attempted to insert an image link in a response, and it showerd up pretty as you please in the preview, but when the post went through, the image flew the coop...

Don't tell anyone but I use IE 9 to post here now.
 
I finally relented and updated my FF to the latest from 3.2.8 for everything else and just use IE for here.
 
Hopefully that should inspire everyone here to just use the standard browsers and note that posting quality doesn't need to be comprimised just because you don't have fancy ones.
