It failed a month ago. They said I needed new coax from the street box to house. Two weeks later they replaced it and it worked for a week then failed late one night.
Next morning it was working again so I thought nothing more of it. Tuesday night it failed again, then was working in the morning. Last night it failed, I called the cable co to complain. This morning it was still broken.
Now I get home to wait for the engineer (still not here) and its working again...
As long as it keeps working they won't find a fault!
Let me guess, you're the first one to test out X2?
Hopefully the guys will show up and do a proper testing to narrow down the problem.
We once had cable TV (Cox Communications) and they had an interesting practice. They wouldn't cash our monthly check (BTW paid early) until past the due date. Then, they would diconnect the service, charge us a re-installation fee + whatnot to have our cable back again. We found out through our bank (which made the actual check payment) that we weren't the only customers that complained of this......pfffft....unethical society that we live in.
