We're approaching the scene now.  There's been an accident on the 405 involving a film crew, several actors in costumes, and a truck full of hazardous waste.  The crew was apparently filming a scene for an upcoming Fruit of the Loom commercial.  Virgil "Snuffy" Nuggsmeir, the actor in the banana costume, slipped while running across the expressway.  It is thought that he stepped on himself.  In the ensuing pileup a tanker truck filled with radioactive toxic waste overturned.  Nuggsmeir was completely covered in radioactive sludge.  Before rescue workers could reach him, however, he flew up and threw the truck off of the expressway. 

Freed from the toxic waste, Nuggsmeir, aka BananaMan, gave nuclear powered wedgies to his fellow actors and then knocked over a few buildings. 

At this point in time, BananaMan is terrorizing Los Angeles.  More than usual, I mean.  The Governor has declared a state of emergency, saying, "nothing could have prepared us for this!  If only there was someone out there who was prepared for a Banana Emergency!"
