Morning Beags!!

I heard Soothsayer on the song forum last night (through my phones)......and your performance was spot on.....it just carried the song....you also articulated the words really well.......you voice lessons sure are paying off. :) Well done!!

I'm not sure if this was listening through the H-phones or not, but the low end didn't seem very present (even on the pre-mixed track it was the same). The Hi's were very prominent when anythig with "S'ss" were pronounced.
Did you also notice that or was it just my cans?

Other than that, the whole song was played really well by everyone.....especially the guitars.......and of course the precious dulcimer solo......masterpiece!!

Ah, thanks, Mesh!  we've gotten several comments that the high end was too pronounced and the low end was lacking, so we're looking into it.  thanks for the great feedback!

I thought everyone did a fantastic job on this!  I never would have thought to use a dulcimer as a solo on a blues song...you know...because they're so hard to keep in tune...but daryk did a phenomenal job on it!

I just loved the guitar solos, too.  they were really cool for this tune!

Of course, we've also been told that my organ was too big...

I hear the piano mixed nice but maybe on these computer speakers I am missing your organ.

What keys and patch were used for the organ sound?

I hear something that sounds like an emulation of the top drawbars pulled out with a chorusy sound..

I used my MO6 for organ.  I don't remember right now which patch I used (I have several organ patches on it).  it's most noticable during the chorus.

ill bet your wrist is sore after that extended dulcimer double picking solo !!!!

Very sore - I wish you could have been there while I was recording :- picture the scene, there was me thrashing my hand organ while the current Mrs Daryl1968 was busy twiddling my knob trying to keep the damn thing from going out of tune.
It was quite a kerfuffle.
