Why nothing ever gets done here, part 3,723.2:
So I decide todays the day to trim the hedges, so I wait for the heat to subside a bit and go out and get me electric hedge trimmer out, put my safety glasses and work gloves on and head for the overgrown hedges in front of my dining room.
Soon after starting I feel a sharp pain on my the back of my hand and look down at my hand expecting that a sharp piece of debris has flown off at high speed.
Instead I see a flying insect is stinging me through the glove (with extreme prejudice)! Turns out they decided my hedges were an ideal spot for their hive.
So now I can't see where the hive is to spray it, but as soon as I start trimming I get activity and have to back away to safety.
Arghhhhh!
